This privacy policy sets out how Nurture and Connect Therapy uses and protects any information given when you use this website and when receiving treatment.
Nurture and Connect Therapy is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
Nurture and Connect Therapy reserves the right, as its discretion, to make changes to any part of the website, the information and these terms. By continuing to use the website you agree to be bound by the Terms as amended.
What we collect:
We require basic information which identifies you as an individual (Personal Information), such as name, email and telephone number, in order to enable you to use the services we provide, for example when you send us a question/ request, using our ‘contact us’ page. We will only use the information for the purposes of providing the information you requested, or for purposes set out in the Terms.
We may collect the following information:
Contact and identification details (e.g., name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth)
- Contact information, including email address and telephone numbers.
- Demographic information.
- Information pertinent to fulfilling our services on an individual’s or organisation’s behalf.
- Health and medical information (e.g., medical history, test results, diagnoses, treatment plans)
- Financial and billing information (e.g. payment information)
How we store personal information:
All information about the client, and their therapy is stored securely in a password-protected, encrypted folder on the laptop of the treating therapist in order to ensure that we have a complete record of our service to you. When your case is no longer active, we delete the information on the laptop and it is kept on the encrypted storage device.
Any paper-based, confidential information (such as assessments and case notes) are stored securely in accordance with data protection regulations.
In accordance with law, all records will be kept securely until a child is 26 years old. After this time, all records relating to the patient will be securely destroyed.
Non-clinical email correspondence and invoices will be deleted from The Nurture and Connect Therapy systems after 6 years.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place highly encrypted electronic systems and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
If you believe that any information, we are holding is incorrect or incomplete, or have any data protection related issues or queries, please contact us at admin@nct-therapy.co.uk as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
If you are concerned that we have breached a privacy law or code binding on us, please send an email marked ‘urgent’ to admin@nct-therapy.co.uk. We aim to respond in a reasonable time (normally 24 hours). Our data protection officer will manage your complaint and will give you additional information about how it will be handled.
